Following on from the successful completion of the Wheel  Project, the Parish Council are exited about a new community project initiative, undertaken by the council, to improve the area of the Lone Singer Gardens.

The project has involved many people and organisations, including, Codsall Community High School and their talented Art Students, who designed and painted a  Mural for the location.  The Mural  depicts pockets of time of important or significant events/people/structures of Codsall Parish; all on a painted backdrop of the Doomsday Book.

The Peace Garden was also created; the area was cleared of ivy, bindweed and debris by volunteers from Codsall Community Group in preparation for professional landscaping by Boningale Nurseries, who also kindly donated plants to the value of £1,500.00, towards the scheme.

The Idea for, and partial design of the Peace Garden, was instigated by members of St Nicholas Church.  The project was officially opened on 21st September 2017 at 11.00am, by the Chairman of Codsall Parish Council - Councillor Mrs Megan Barrow.

Reverend Simon Whitcombe undertook the, `Blessing of the Community Peace Gardens`.

Everyone was invited to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Singing Lady Garden Project.
