We are pleased to advise that the maintenance repairs and improvements that the Parish Council have undertaken to the War Memorial Gardens are now completed.

Village Hall Playground

Coming soon…..We are pleased to announce that after successfully securing a grant from Veolia the Parish Council are now able to replace the play equipment and include some additional items including a Zip Wire at Codsall Village Hall Play Area.  The new inclusive play equipment will be for children aged 0 to adult.

Best Dressed Window Competition

Chairman Councillor Val Chapman & Vice Chairman Councillor Kirstin Ewart presented the Best Dressed Window plaque for 2020 to Codsall Flowers for their very festive and Cheerful Christmas window display

Codsall Community Award

The Chairman Cllr Val Chapman, Vice Chairman Cllr Kirstin Ewart and Cllr Brian Holland presented a £50.00 voucher and an award to three local volunteers who have volunteered their time to the community of Codsall, without receiving any funding, and in some instances at their own cost:

The recipients of the awards were:

Mike Andrews for weekly litter picking outlying areas of Codsall over the last four years.


Peter Doody for tidying-up and weeding the village.


Sandra Jeavons for many years gardening and planting up a grassed area on the Chillington Estate.  

The Chairman of Codsall Parish Council said “people in our community who volunteer to improve the lives of our community should be acknowledged and this award is a small way for the Parish Council to say thank you”.
